HEY that's what we need! A game like that Pokemon phot-taking game only have it take place in an all-girls school! Think about it they could play all sors of sports- not just volleyball!! Wait. I guess you could design a skin colored bikini and design nipples and a little black triangle in the right areas. The whole nudity thing could also be part of the bikini customization option, depending how detailed the option is. Tecmo has already included nudity in the ending movie for Christie in DOA3, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for them to have a topless mode in DOAEVB. In the September issue of the Official Xbox Mag(if you want to believe them), they make it sound like there will be nudity.
The leader of Team Ninja also said in an interview that they are exploring the possibility of nudity in the game. Some Tecmo USA guy said in an interview that he contacted the ESRB to see what rating they would get if there was nudity in DOAEVB. The whole nudity thing was started by Tecmo themselves, it is not just a rumor. This thread is still alive because we all like a good game of Volleyball, damit! )
On a serious note, maybe there useing this as a research tool to get there engine up to spec for DOA4, much in same way Reflections did with Stuntman for Driver 3, developing these engines are expense and time consuming so they release the Volleyball game with partial nudity or full and geeky fan boys make it sell over a million copy's Tecmo makes a buttload of money and the teams hard to work on DOA4 with an enchanced engine.Īnd the comment about Tecmo selling it's proverbial soul to MS, It's there business and frankly I'm behind there choice, Tecmo strives for the best graphics in there games as evidenced my there support for the Sega Dreamcast which beat the shit out of PS1 & N64 in graphics, then the PS2 launch's and there's Tecmo once again making games for the highest powered system, then the gamecube launchs no titles for them being DOA's sexual nature, then though the cube is better looking then PS2, and finally the Xbox which is the graphics king there you go there was no selling of souls, and there's even rumours of a DOA game making it to PS2 which is probaly a DOA3 rehash or Xtreme Beach Volleyball :)
