House - the most "good" ending because with Mr. House's ending seems to carry a sort of "The ends justify the means," which I'm not sure if I agree with it or if such a way of thinking could be considered good.Ĭraig Martin Posts: 3395 Joined: Wed 4:25 pm House, perhaps his overall goals and visions could be considered the most good, but it's undeniable that some of the most good factions and communities in the game meet ill fates under his rule (Vault 21 is described as a truly equality-driven paradise before Mr.House fills it with cement, the Kings are likely to die out OR another innocent community will have to suffer at the hands of the Kings if they're to survive, the Followers and Gannon are unsatisfied with his control, and is it just me or does Cass' ending with Mr.House imply suicide?).
Independent Vegas can also be rather peaceful, but anarchy carries just as many downsides as it does benefits, not to mention that it's arguably a very naive and negligent choice for a player to make, seeing as, in my opinion, both Mr.House and the NCR -at least- offer more good than bad, whereas anarchy opens up all kinds of risks and shuts out all kinds of opportunities. There are also several in-game communities who seem as though they'd be unhappy under NCR rule. NCR is definitely the most peaceful (as in it's possible to solve just about EVERY cross-faction issue with diplomacy), but not neccesarily the most good as the NCR proves to have many corrupt citizens in powerful positions. Legion would definitely go on my list as the most "evil" simply because of their unjustifiable sixism and slavery, but it's a tough call among those three.
Personally I have trouble listing House, NCR and Yes-man.
I thought this might spark an interesting debate among users if everyone was asked to list the four endings from what the consider to be the most "good" ending to the most "evil" ending.
